Hi everyone. It's been quite some time, hasn't it?

A few months ago, a friend of mine motivated me to draw a lot over the summer and finally be active on da. (You know who you are! ) My boyfriend was over from mid-June to mid-July, and I had planned to spend the rest of my summer preparing for the next school year, as well as drawing lotttts.

Unfortunately, as many of my closer friends are aware of, I had a near-fatal car accident just a few months ago on July 25th. On my way to work, I had collided nearly head-on with a semi truck, resulting in my car (as well as myself squashed in the car lol X____x) to be dragged across the lane and into the grassy ditch next to the road, pinned under the truck.

I've realized that life is too short, and that I should make something of myself (even if it's at some silly art site sharing art and collecting art). I also learned that I have some REALLY AWESOME FRIENDS FUCK YEAH???? I was really let down by a few, whom I thought would always have my back, and didn't really care when I was lol DYING but... I also found that some friends who always take more of a back seat really came forward to help, whether it was constantly checking up on me every few days through the phone or the instant messengers, popping over to visit, or sending me a surprise card or good wish through the mail. Even all the little things meant a lot. You know, it's really sad when you nearly die, and people whom you think are your really close bestest friends EVAR seem to just drop off the face of the earth. Don't even get me started on the time consuming, back breaking task of slapping a 50 cent stamp onto an envelope to just send a little support. I know it's a little narcissistic and people have their own hectic lives to worry about, but I can't help feeling frustrated when thinking about it sometimes. Guess that's just some steam I needed to blow off... heheh... </rant>

Anyway, I've got a lot to do and a lot to live for. 'Til next time!
